The Cartagena Network of Engineering is a tripartite set of international academic, institutional and industrial institutions in the domains of mechanical engineering, automation of production processes, and industrial engineering. Its main vocation is to establish a multilateral collaboration between its different members to:
- enhance engineers training in its domains;
- modernize producing capacities of the member countries.

"The human being is at the crossing of all things, lets take it in our hands and make the quality of life better"
That’s the philosophy and utopia that I want to share with the members of the network so that finally engineering, in its widest aspect, can take in its hands the world‘s destiny for:
- Reducing inequalities, poverty, misery; the true plague of our civilization.
- Share the knowledge and work: the true wealth of everyone.
- Respect the planet and its environment; the true heritage that we should leave for our children.
